Week 5: End Production sprint 1


Hi all,

This week marks the end of our first production sprint. So lets see what we all accomplished this last week. 

Our game now features a staple known to all: the door. Because first and foremost we respect people's privacy and their right to close and open doors whenever they want! Both ghost and NPCs alike. No more running face first into doors (we are looking at you NPCs). A feature for everyone who has ever seen a door and has had to suppress the primal urge to slam it as hard as possible.

This week we also bring you the long awaited return of our closet, previously seen in our prototype (rip prototype). That's right, now you can play hide and seek with our ghost hunters.


Oh, have we mentioned our ghost hunters have completed all necessary ghost hunter training and are now ready to do their job? We are so proud of them and wish them the best of luck as they patrol the halls, search those closets and will leave no ghost seen unharmed, So better watch out, don't get too close or you might get sucked up by our newly improved ghost hunters!

Our NPCs on the other hand are still gradually growing towards their full potential. After all, learning how to open doors is very hard and sometimes it's the baby steps that count. That being said, they now have their main behavior implemented while we continue tweaking smaller features.


The havoc you wreak as a ghost will now scare an NPC when they are closeby. Turn off lights, throw random objects, and most importantly of all go around flushing toilets whenever you want!

Meanwhile feast your eyes on our level, which continues to take shape with more refined textures, models and lighting tweaks.




And of course as always, it is now time for everyone's favorite segment: ghost pun of the week!

What do ghost love most about parties?
