Week 10: Polish sprint
Helloooooww!
The week was the last polish week. Our game is finished right now. We worked hard fixing all remaining bugs and added as much player feedback and sounds as possible.
We added a puddle near the toilet that slowly appears when the toilet is flushed.
We made the elevator look like..... an elevator!
More level decoration was added.
Last week we gave the NPCs animations. After disabling things to enable other things and forgetting to disable to enable a thing in the for the male NPC, we added a falling over animation. The falling over can be triggered is the NPC is scared from behind.
The ghosthunter is no longer frozen in time for eternity and received animations. This went way smoother than the NPC animations.
The NPCs dance when you lose, making you feel bad for what you did to them! There is also a lightning strike at the end.
The ghost received an fancy invisible effect, again because he asked nicely :D
We made an indicator for the lightswitch and play a sound when the switch is flicked.
We made the environment more interesting by adding lightning flashes and thunder at random intervals. We also added rain with rainsounds (that's the sound that rain makes). Our floor is made of wood, so we added wood cracking sounds at random intervals.
we also polished the menu with a video in the background.

I think ghosts are genetically inferior.
